It was previously known as Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Business edition prior to the new brand name. Dynamics Business Central was launched in stages across the world and is now available in New Zealand.

Dynamics Business Central Pricing
The primary licensing for Dynamics 365 Business Central licenses is by named user subscription and users are classified into 2 types, namely Full Users and Additional Users.
Full Users refers to users whose day to day work requires the use of feature-rich business application functionality. Example of full users are salespeople, finance staff, customer service representatives, supply chain executives. The full users are licensed with a Dynamics 365 Business Central subscription.
Additional Users refers to tho who need to complete light task and consume data or reports but do not require full user capabilities. These additional users are licensed with a Dynamics 365 Business Central Team Members.
